Canadian Trucking Company Wins DHS Approval as a Result of AH Law Group Representation

The AH Law Group successfully represented Bruce R. Smith Limited, a trucking company in Simcoe, Ontario, in bringing the security standards of the company in line with requirements of the Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) program. As a result, the company has been reinstated into the Free and Secure Trade (FAST) lane program.

FAST lane access is given to those C-TPAT members who are certified members of the C-TPAT program. C-TPAT compliant shipments entering the U.S. from either Canada or Mexico are able to use designated lanes at numerous border crossings and have special consideration during the examination process.
