AH Law Group Successfully Defends Arkansas Company before Departments of State and Army

The AH Law Group, PLC successfully defended an Arkansas company that manufactures, sells, and trains in the use of less lethal munitions before the Department of State, which had placed the Company under a policy of denial on export licenses, and before the Department of Army, which had suspended the Company from future federal government contracts.

The Company was under a policy of denial arising from criminal charges filed against two former employees for alleged violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA).   After the charges were filed, the Company immediately employed The AH Law Group, PLC to conduct an internal investigation on the matter.   The internal investigative report along with the recommended improvements in FCPA compliance and the firm’s advocacy resulted in the lifting of the policy of denial and the contracting suspension.

Both the Army and State Department lifted the suspension and policy of denial within weeks of instituting each.
