After a four-day trial, a Benton County jury acquitted Judge David Bisbee on two charges, and the third charge was declared a mistrial. Senior Partner Asa Hutchinson led the defense team, which included Dak Kees, associate attorney, and Asa Hutchinson III, partner.

The prosecuting attorney had alleged that Benton County Judge David Bisbee misused his position as county judge to benefit himself and another contractor on a county construction contract. If the County Judge had been convicted under the charges, he would have been automatically removed from office under Arkansas law.
